# Document this model

An illustrative explanation of the selected contract, not an execution result.

A model revision and its permitted sources establish what the document describes. Base requirements and the caller's house requirements govern the same methodology document. The result explains the developer's choices, assumptions, alternatives and limitations with support that a reader can inspect.

The drawing's “Checks + open gaps” group summarizes four supporting records: a section plan, choice register, citation audit and readiness report. They serve different purposes. Mapping a requirement to a section does not verify its content; listing a citation does not establish that it supports the claim. An absent source or unmet requirement remains visible, together with the work needed to address it.

The document and supporting reports have their own requirements. A short decision note cannot replace the commissioned methodology document. Reporting a gap can fulfill the duty to disclose it while the underlying information requirement remains unmet.
