# Plan the card-rack build

An illustrative explanation of the selected contract, not an execution result.

![Two synthetic orders retain Rev A and Rev B identities through configuration and routing into material and yield quantities. Machine and inspection windows constrain the capacity schedule. The connected result is a proposed plan and instructions; production and release remain separate.](https://openprose.ai/contract-views/v1/production-planning/fc941ded84d412f2d0bddac95b085ba2aa7c67ac7fae5a38e60d0ecc9fab5b19.png)

The fictional workshop has two card-rack orders with different applicable revisions. Those identities must remain intact throughout the plan. The resolved configuration and chosen route determine material demand, starts, rework and consumption. Scheduling must use those actual quantities rather than a more convenient production assumption.

Machine availability is only part of capacity. Inspection and review windows, operation precedence and the applicable resources also constrain the proposed schedule. The drawing joins quantities and capacity under one plan because a favorable schedule for a different material basis would not complete the commission.

The resulting work instructions preserve revision applicability, operation definitions, acceptance rules and required lot history. In this fixture, the deterministic yield model is a stipulated planning assumption; it is not a measured guarantee about a real process. Alternative routes retain the same engineering and acceptance requirements.

The view omits the commission's separately requested obsolescence response and alternative qualification work. It also omits numerical calculations and claims no selected route or established feasibility. Those conclusions require the commissioned analysis and evidence. A proposed plan does not reserve resources, purchase materials, dispatch shop work, approve an engineering release or establish accepted production. Missing qualifications, limits or capabilities must remain visible in the result.
