# OpenProse Organizations

Contracts for building an operating organization, assigning work, producing decisions, and preserving responsibility and knowledge. Start with the [kernel](../core/README.md), then select a contract and supply the organization’s actual authority, constraints, inputs, and output scope. Roles in a proposed design do not appoint people or grant permissions.

| Need | Contract |
|---|---|
| Revise commitments, demand and allocation for a bounded change batch | [Rolling operating plan](contracts/rolling-plan.md) |
| Reconcile workload and shared usable capacity | [Demand and capacity](contracts/demand-capacity.md) |
| Route conflicting promises and overlapping decision authority | [Commitment conflicts](contracts/commitment-conflicts.md) |
| Diagnose a performance problem from operating evidence | [Organization diagnosis](contracts/organization-diagnosis.md) |
| Connect diagnosis, alternatives and a feasible transition proposal | [Organization renewal](contracts/organization-renewal.md) |
| Design how a team delivers an outcome | [Organization design](contracts/organization-design.md) |
| Make decision ownership and escalation usable | [Decision rights](contracts/decision-rights.md) |
| Assign a feasible body of work | [Work allocation](contracts/work-allocation.md) |
| Execute and integrate interdependent contributions | [Coordinated delivery](contracts/coordinated-delivery.md) |
| Produce a recommendation or an authorized decision | [Decision record](contracts/decision-record.md) |
| Transfer unfinished work with readiness evidence | [Responsibility handoff](contracts/responsibility-handoff.md) |
| Build knowledge for a particular operating responsibility | [Institutional knowledge](contracts/institutional-knowledge.md) |
| Refresh that knowledge for a bounded change batch | [Knowledge maintenance](contracts/knowledge-maintenance.md) |
| Prepare a person or agent to perform a role | [Role onboarding](contracts/role-onboarding.md) |
| Change an operating arrangement without dropping duties | [Organization transition](contracts/organization-transition.md) |
| Preserve accepted commitments through updates | [Commitment register](contracts/commitment-register.md) |
| Explain progress, dependencies and decisions | [Operating review](contracts/operating-review.md) |
| Assess recorded permissions | [Access review](contracts/access-review.md) |
| Assess exact-revision approvals | [Change readiness](contracts/change-readiness.md) |
| Assess the coverage of an exception | [Policy exception review](contracts/policy-exception-review.md) |

Try the [candidate work-allocation commission](tests/allocation/program.md), then the [composed operating-packet commission](tests/coordination/program.md). The [test suite](tests/allocation/suite.md) includes new execution, contrasting supplied results, incomplete evidence, and agreement inadequacy. Synthetic records are test data, not claims about a real organization. Outputs belong in the caller’s supplied fresh directory.

For changing work, invoke the [shared service revision](tests/rolling/program.md) with a fresh Output directory and optionally its supplied Stress forecast. It reconciles replayed progress, preserves joint promises and assesses window-specific production and review limits. Its [suite](tests/rolling/suite.md) challenges meaningful forecast substitution, valid allocation freedom, missing evidence and defective judgments. For structural change, invoke the [joint archive redesign](tests/renewal/program.md): diagnosis, actual alternative comparison and a candidate transition with protected exceptions, training costs and scoped future acceptance. Its [suite](tests/renewal/suite.md) tests capacity, identity and unsupported benefit claims. These are invocable synthetic applications; authored suites and calculations alone do not establish exercised beta readiness.

[The scoped handoff commission](tests/handoff/program.md) requires actual modeled successor retrieval and acceptance through a separately [prepared finite double](tests/handoff/double.md). Its [assessment](tests/handoff/suite.md) distinguishes partial transfer, public versus protected access, stale acceptance and continuing ownership of imminent duties. Preparation and authored expectations are not evidence that the handoff occurred.

This package depends on core. Adoption and invocation are explicit; the index does not adopt every contract. Current OpenProse-owned content is provided under the [MIT license](LICENSE.md).
